You need the Cyclone Power Fan
if you experience these heat-related problems:
Oveheating of the Engine and Drivetrain
Lack of sufficient air conditioning in the cab
High maintenance costs due to brake repairs
High maintenance costs due to clutch repairs.

A Cool Solution for Hot Engines
Let's face it. Keeping a fleet running smoothly and efficiently is an ever present challenge. In most instances, heat, be it from strenuous engine use, or high ambient temperatures is at the root of the problem. And if the vehicle's fan is less than adequate, then your challenges just become greater. Our extensive study into the problems most prevalent in the fleet industry indicates that the OE fans are just that.

Here's Why:

Commercial fleet vehicles come stock with viscous clutch fans. Under extreme conditions, such as severe heat, or when trucks are sitting stationary and the engine is running to operate vehicle lights, PTOs, hydraulics, radios, and other equipment, the engines and drive trains can easily overheat.

Plus, in the case of "For Hire" fleets, inexperienced drivers who don't down-shift for engine retarding create not only stress on the brakes, but the clutch fan as well, causing high repair bills. So how does a product that can keep the vehicle from over-heating, lower maintenance costs and reduce downtime sound?

Here is the solution to your problem!

Enter the Cyclone Power Fan, a revolutionary new product that for a small investment can offer you a huge impact! It has been conclusively proven that the engine fan, which is always engaged, is really only needed 2% of the time -- when traveling at slow speeds, or sitting still. The rest of the time, the fan is just a useless draw on the engine.

The Cyclone replaces the factory clutch and engages and disengages the fan on an as-needed basis. As a result, you get 40 more horsepower, assistance in engine retarding, better fuel economy, and improved air conditioning performance. And while the stock clutch is air temperature controlled, the Cyclone is thermostat controlled -- it constantly monitors the engine and transmission coolant to determine when the fan is really needed for cooling.

The Cyclone automatically disengages your truck fan when outside temperatures and normal driving is sufficient to cool your engine, then automatically engages your fan when it is needed. Available for both gasoline and diesel powered engines, it synchronizes the engine fan for improvement in not only engine cooling, but fuel efficiency and even horsepower. The secret is 21st century technology that uses state of the art sensors and controls.

The Nitty Gritty of How the Cyclone Works!
The Cyclone works on the same principle as an electromagnetic air conditioner compressor clutch. The Cyclone engages and disengages your fan on an as need basis to give you greater control over your truck's cooling needs. A control unit located in the cab is equipped with sensors that gauge changes in the air conditioner, transmission fluid and engine coolant temperature. These sensors signify when and if your factory-installed fan should operate. The control unit power light indicates when your fan is engaged or disengaged.

The Cyclone will automatically turn your fan off when driving conditions are sufficient to keep your engine cool. When your fan is off, expect a significant increase in horsepower and fuel economy. When outside conditions change, requiring cooling from the fan, the control unit will indicate that your fan is operating.

Ultimately you are in control. If at any time you feel your engine is being stressed and needs extra cooling or if you simply want to add cooling ambient air to your cab, the Cyclone is equipped with a manual override on the control unit to increase the revolutions for maximum cooling and engine retarding. The override system changes the slower rpm of your OE fan to match the revolutions of your engine, adding a blast of cooling air with every turn.
